Welcome to the Heartland Dojo! We hope to offer classes for ages five and up in Roanoke, Illinois, starting in April of 2019. We are not quite ready to accept signups, but if you would like more information, please feel free to contact Sensei Mike Oliveri via email or visit us on Facebook.
Enrolling in a martial arts program is a great way to get fit as well as improve self discipline, self defense, self esteem, and self confidence. Our classes are focused on the Shuri-ryu style of karate, in which Sensei Oliveri holds the rank of nidan, or 2nd-degree black belt. In the near future we hope to offer instruction in judo, kobudo, iaijutsu, and general self defense, as well as provide instruction to younger students.
